About David Wright

David Wright is the founder and owner of Wright’s Well Control Services.

Since 1985, David has been directly involved with the service sector for the offshore oil and gas industry. Beginning his career as a supervisor/trainer, he operated sand cutting equipment, wireline units and cementing equipment.

While working for Red Adair/Global Industries, he was responsible for all on-site supervision and equipment management.

In 1992, he became a project coordinator for Halliburton Energy Services. With worldwide responsibilities, he continued to develop his project management skills, overseeing and coordinating plug & abandonment activities, developing cost estimates for proposals, writing procedures and directing on-site activities. He is skilled at developing specifications and clarifications for multi-service bid packages.

With other well services companies, David expanded his project management and technical skill sets to include designing and building specialized offshore equipment.

David holds six offshore technology patents at WWCS and uses his extensive experience, certifications and training in all the services offered by the company.
